Can I use the infrared and traditional heaters at the same time?
They must be used separately. Most of our customers start off their sauna session with the high temperature traditional heater to get a good sweat on and then finish with the deep penetrating calmer infrared panels to fully relax their muscles. If you pair that with a cold plunge afterwards - you have yourself a superhero wellness package.
What is the maximum temperature the sauna reaches?
The maximum temperature of this sauna model's traditional heater is ~200 degrees Fahrenheit and the Infrared Panels are ~140 degrees.
How long and how many people does assembly take?
It takes about an hour for one to two people to assemble. It comes in a partially pre-assembled kit to make assembly a breeze. Check out the installation manual to get a good visual of the process. The electric heater must be hardwired by a certified electrician.
Does it need to be vented?
No, there are dedicated vents built in for proper air circulation.
What is the operation cost?
The cost depends on the frequency of use, the duration, and the price per consumed kWh charged by your electricity provider. On average, using this infrared sauna 5 times a week for 30 minutes raises the monthly electricity bill by approximately $20.
What is the difference between NEAR, MID, and FAR Infrared and what is Full Spectrum?
FAR Infrared has the longest wavelength and penetrates the deepest into the body tissue, reaching the adipose tissue (fatty tissue) and activating the sweat glands. The sweat glands are one of the only mechanisms that the body has to eliminate toxins.
MID Infrared penetrates the body tissue leading to increased blood flow and circulation and reduces muscle and joint pain.
